is to be good stewards
of what we have received from God by privately and publicly living the
Christian life as God has clearly explained it in the Bible. This
looks, in part, like this:
|
- 'Loving the Lord our God with all our heart
and with all our soul and with all our mind.' Jesus said this is the
first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'To Love our
neighbor as our self.' <Matthew 22>
- Always being prepared to give an answer to
everyone who asks us as to the reason for the hope that we have. To do
this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience
<1 Peter 3>
- Living such good lives among those around us
that, though we may be accused of doing wrong, through our good deeds men
women and children will glorify God on the day he visits us.
<1 Peter 2>
- Going and making disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded us.
<Matthew 28>
- If it is possible, as far as it depends on
us, to live at peace with everyone around us
<Romans 12>
|
Last, we wish for God to get all
the credit for any thing good that might happen to be done through this
Ministry or in our personal lives. Truly, our lives are like a mist:
we are here for such a very short time and then we are all gone. We
praise God for the opportunity to serve the King of Kings and the Lord of
Lords who is coming back soon.
He (Jesus Christ, the righteous judge) who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I
am coming soon." <Revelation 22:> |
