The Bible has many things to
say about prayer. The Bible teaches us to pray to God the Father
through His one and only Son Jesus Christ
(John 16:23)(1John
4:9),
to pray in the Holy Spirit
(Jude
20:1),
to pray continually
(1 Thessalonians 5:17),
that the prayers of righteous men and women are powerful and effective
(James
5:16),
to occasionally pray all night
(Luke
6:12).
Further:
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.
(James 5:13-14)
Prayer includes: adoration of God just for who He is, confessing our sins to God,
thanking God for His great mercy and, last, bringing our petitions
(prayer requests) to Him: requests both for other's needs (intercession)
and for our own needs.
Regarding answers to prayer:
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear
fruit - fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
(John 15:16-17)
and
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
(John 15:6-7)

Just a current reminder that we pray for
all the prayer requests that are sent to us. We have received a number of
them in the last several months. Prayer for relationships that have
been shattered by worldly pursuits and health issues are the two top
requests. The goal of the radical agenda(s) in the United States is
to turn men and boys into apologetic sissies and to break up every
marriage in America. Jesus Christ died for their sin also.
As for me and my house. we will serve the Lord.

Ray has stopped posting prayer requests to
this page because of time constraints. I spend most of my ministry
time now in face to face meetings with the rich and poor alike and there
is not a lot of time to faithfully update this particular page. I pray for
every request that we get even though I don't acknowledge each one.
Also, even if you get a "Sp*m" reply to your email (because your address
is not in my email address book), rest assured that I have seen and prayed
for your request. Do not ever forget this one thing: If you have asked the
Lord Jesus Christ to forgive your sin then He has promised, in Hebrews
(left) that He will always be with you, in both good times and bad.

That God would open doors and hearts.
Men of Hope as they begin (April 8, 2004) a
Rhode Island Statewide prayer meeting (second Thursday of the month) for
God to bring revival in the leaders of our nation, state, cities and towns
(in RI) and within the hearts of RI Pastors and Churches.
The mid-eastern nations surrounding Israel
and the Palestinian people: that they
would not see The Passion of the Christ movie in the context of
anti-Semitism but rather in the Biblical light of Christ's suffering on
the cross to pay the price for their disobedience to the Living God.
That they would ask and receive Christ's forgiveness.
For the upcoming holy week culminating in
Easter. That churches would be filled
with men, women and children seeking Biblical understanding of Jesus
Christ. That those seeking this understanding would be led to Holy
Spirit filled churches (and not counterfeits).

and her church in Guatemala. Also for the many
new churches in Guatemala that there would be at least
one Bible for each church in their native

move in a mighty way in that country. For
revival. For the orphanages in
Guatemala. For the lame, poor, destitute, widows, children, blind,

- Churches whose elders call for corporate
prayer and their congregations do not show up. Jesus said His

ago with stomach cancer that is already at stage 4 (advanced) and has

retired firefighter who often risked his own safety for others.

A woman married over 25 years: for her husband's Internet
addiction; for their marriage relationship; for an Internet relationship
with another woman to stop; for a women who does not understand what . .

A woman married 14 years in deep despair
because her husband has walked out on her for another woman and is

trying to get his attention. |

Have
received many requests for prayer although they have not been posted
here since December. Each one is prayed for at the time it is
received. Remember Matthew 6:8 - "your Father knows what you need before you ask
him." and,
Luke 18:6-8 "And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?"
No, he will not!
I
have witnessed God moving a number of times since 12/10. He is
always about His work. I try to often be about that work!
Men and women who were dead in the world and then made alive in Christ
through the reality of Christ raised from the dead! It is so good
to receive forgiveness of our sin which so easily entangles us.
Be
encouraged that God listens to the prayers of those who love Him; who

Hard to believe that this page has not been updated for over 2
months! Have been speaking to and with and praying for and with
many since the last update on 05/05. Know that we receive many
prayer requests on a weekly basis and that I pray for each one of
them. Some of you are having such difficult times with family
related issues that it breaks my heart to read your prayer
requests. If you're struggling as you read these words try to remember
that God loves you so very much and your situation grieves His
heart even more. I care for those who take time to write and

contracted Lou Gehrig's disease. For Rick

regarding a job issue; for a church with
budget deficit; for men who
continually resist God's truth and go to work every day in quiet
isolated desperation: that God would cause them to seek
Christ in a real way for the first time: that the joy of a
personal relationship with the Living Jesus Christ would transform
their lives from darkness into light, joy and peace.
Praise God: for the hundreds coming to Christ in New
England; for those who are seeking and finding God. For those who came
to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior for the first time last Saturday
in Worcester, MA. |

Please pray for Chris' father who has lung cancer that has now reached a
critical point and pray for family relationships to be restored. Pray
that Jesus would overcome his feeling that God has abandoned him.
For Kyler that God would heal the severe injuries sustained
in the 4/18 PM car accident; for strength for his mom and dad and family
as they spend many hours at the hospital; for skill the surgeons.
For continued healing from surgery for Norberto.
For the adults and young children baptized yesterday
(Sunday): that following this public declaration to follow Jesus Christ
that God would bring people into their lives looking for God's Truth
that does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17)
For the A. family: for healing from many physical ailments. |

Please pray for "the salvation of Marty and for our relationship to
be restored with CHRIST in the CENTER. M.L." For Eduardo,
Mark and Paul as they graduate; for those addicted to nicotine and other
addictive substances to be freed from their dependencies; for Pam to be
filled with God's peace and joy despite her cancer; for Mr. Powell as he
travels to the Mideast today; for God to give several young couples the
desire to have Jesus Christ at the center of their marriage; for many
Church "Vacation Bible Schools" currently being planned: that
the good news of Jesus
Christ would be presented clearly in each, with gentleness and
respect (1Peter 3:15).
For Ron, Joan, and Holly: for God's peace and joy in their
hearts.

There have been so many prayer needs this last month it is, at times,
overwhelming. Thanks be to God that He is mighty to save.
Pray for recovery
from surgery for Raquel; B. for freedom from alcohol; Norberto for
scheduled surgery on 3/22; Ben for wherever he is right now and Carlton
for wherever he is right now also. For K. as he currently struggles with
addiction. For several men: for their wives to want to reconcile with
them; for several women: for their husbands to want to reconcile with
them; for the IV ministry at RISD in Providence; for M., a Muslim man
seeking understanding of who Jesus really is; for a loving woman with arthritis;
for M&C as they look for a new church; for Churches that preach the
Bible in Truth in spite of cultural pressures to the contrary (both from
without and within); for the staff, volunteers, residents and guests at
the Prov. Rescue Mission.
For all those single dads and moms out there struggling
just to make ends meet each month: that they might ask Jesus to heal
their broken marriages.
For revival to break out in the churches in your
neighborhood; for friends who do not have a personal and, therefore,
life saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jesus is coming back soon. Share His great love with
someone you love today while there is still time . . . |

My name is Andrea and I am
a single mom struggling with my son. We are both Christians but he
is at that age when he is rebelling at times. I pray I will be the
Mom God wants me to be. I also write Christian poetry and would
